Testimonials

Susan Cotton
Co-founder & Executive Chair
The Lily Project
“Thanks to TTTR, The Lily Project is working with a great technology partner, Cloud Primero, to develop the first mobile app designed specifically to help young women in Latin America become informed, confident advocates of their own sexuality, health, education and power. TTTR expertly guided us through the process of matching us with the right partner. And it is a global experience with teams coming together from Nicaragua, US, Poland, Netherlands & Pakistan!”
Misza Czerniak
Programme Manager
LGBT Christians Forum
“TTTR gathered an amazing team of partners’ staff and freelancers who swiftly joined forces and comprehensively supported us in creating an interactive website with the results of our research. Without this intensive collaboration, the research would not have reached our target audience, ending on a 'shelf'. Engaging and visually compelling presentation is just what we needed to be able to advocate for change!”
Maria Zapata
Executive Director
Ashoka ASPIRe
"We work and collaborate with TTTR in ASPI-Re, an initiative created by Ashoka and Societal Platform, which aims at supporting Social Entrepreneurs to scale their impact 100x by leveraging technology. I'm amazed by how professional and committed Tech Experts brought by Tech To The Rescue are. If you need high-quality Tech professionals for your non-profit, go to TTTR."
Leigh Steele
Engagement Officer
The Knowledge Pledge
“TTTR matched us with Nocodely. Initially we thought they would be helping us with a simple website and some software recommendations. We had no idea that Nocodely was going to unite all of our needs into connected systems and help us automate some of our processes. Final product is a beautiful and interconnected website with our CRM and project management system. TTTR and Nocodely have and are delivering way beyond what we had hoped for.”

Who can apply for pro bono tech support?

Nonprofit organizations fitting TTTR's eligibility criteria that have been affected by the USAID funding changes can apply for support. This includes both organizations directly funded by USAID and those indirectly impacted by the funding freeze. Learn more about our criteria

What kinds of tech solutions can we get support with?

We support any project related to software development and technology needs. Some examples include:

  • Digital fundraising tools
  • Resource optimization systems
  • Program automation solutions
  • Data analytics platforms
  • Digital transformation projects

This is not an exhaustive list – we encourage you to share your specific tech challenges with us.

How quickly can we get support?

While we've streamlined our matching process for organizations affected by USAID changes, we cannot guarantee immediate matches or project acceptance. If your project gets accepted, the timeline will depend on project complexity and tech partner availability. We ensure your project receives maximum visibility among our tech partner community.

Is this really free?

The tech development work is provided pro bono or at significantly reduced costs (low-bono) by our partner companies. However, please note that operational costs such as cloud services, hosting, licenses, and other third-party tools must be covered by your organization.

What level of technical expertise do we need to have?

While you don't need advanced technical knowledge, you should have:

  • Clear project ideas and requirements
  • Basic understanding of your tech needs
  • Capacity to implement and maintain solutions
  • Ideally, an in-house tech team or technical point person

What is expected from our organization?

We ask for:

  • A dedicated point person to coordinate with the tech team
  • Clear communication about your needs and challenges
  • Commitment to implementing the solutions
  • Understanding that while we will promote your project to our tech partners, we cannot guarantee a match

What happens if my organization gets rejected?

If your organization doesn't meet our current criteria, you won't be able to submit a project at this time. However, if your team's conditions change or you have additional information to add, please reach out to our nonprofit team at [email protected].

How do you ensure the quality of tech support?

All our tech partners are verified companies with proven expertise. We carefully match partners based on their experience with similar projects and organizations. Our team provides support throughout the engagement, though the final project execution depends on the matched tech partner.

What happens after the initial project is complete?

You become part of our global community, with access to:

  • Knowledge sharing with other nonprofits
  • Resources and best practices
  • Future tech partnership opportunities
